Lewis and Harris are just incredible islands that have been on the bucket list for some time, and when an opportunity arose this winter to head up to the Highlands and back to where the Yemaya journey began we just couldn't resist! So we embarked on a journey to these captivating islands, eager to reconnect with the natural world and give back to the environment that inspires us.
After a long journey, we found ourselves immersed in the tranquillity of Lewis and Harris.
From golden beaches to snow-capped peaks, every corner of these islands exudes a quiet beauty that leaves a lasting impression.
However, amidst this natural beauty, we encountered a pressing issue: ghost nets and plastic waste littering the coastline. Determined to make a difference, if only small, we spent days scouring remote beaches, hand-collecting discarded nets and debris.
But our trip wasn't just about cleaning up. It was about capturing the essence of Lewis and Harris in every ghost net bracelet we create.
Each piece in our Ghost Net Collection is a tribute to these magical islands, crafted with care and infused with the spirit of adventure and conservation.
