Summer is nearly here and we are starting to return to the new 'normal'! Walking the coast path, headed for a surf or just having a chilled day off would not be complete with a cheeky coffee or lunch from one of the awesome little cafes that adorn the coast path!
Here are a few of my favourites that you have to pay a cheeky visit too!
1. Caerhays Beach Cafe
I love this place! A wood fired pizza oven, lots of local music and a super chilled out vibe it's a great place to head after a day at work or as a coast path pit stop! Check out their live music nights and bring your picnic rug for a super chilled evening under the summer sunset.
2. Hidden Hut
A blog on Cornish coast path gems would not be complete without mentioning these guys! Fantastic fresh food & not a chip in sight, fresh local food is cooked on the outdoor grill, complemented with salads and treats from their indoor oven! This little hut is perched on the top of the cliff just above Porthcurnick beach and gets super busy! Be sure to check out their feast nights - but be quick they sell out super fast!
3. Kynance Cove Cafe
Set in a total beauty spot this cute cafe does some cracking cakes! A fab place for a spot of snorkelling too or as a hiking pit stop its definitely worth a visit if you are on the Lizard.
4. The Cabin, Perranunthoe
Overlooking the beach at Perranunthoe, this is one of my favourite spots to go to in the winter! Open all year round they do great, simple and super tasty food! I love sitting here watching waves and spotting dolphins. They have free wifi & big tables so is a great place for meetings & doing a spot of work too!
5. Fat Apples Cafe
This gorgeous gem is just up the road from Porthhallow beach (which has some cracking snorkelling if you head up the coast path and then down the cliffs!) Fab home cooked food using local produce, they are open all day! Also stocking some gorgeous gifts and show casing local artists this is a fab place to re charge after a day underwater!
So here are a few of my favourites - do you have any? Let me know!
